Alternatives to France Telecom?

I'm seriously thinking of going the 'degroupage total' route with Neuf. €30 a month including the line (no more FT bills), internet, TV and free phone calls to loads of countries.

I am with them for my adsl at the moment and have always found them to be great so am hoping the degroupage optionis just as good. The only thing I'm worried about it being offline while the changeover happens!!

Make sure you test whether you can get away from FT by checking on

There's a big article this month in the magazine '60m consommateurs' - looking at all the options available in France - with feedback on various providers - interesting reading!

They advise, if you must be in contact (we're a B&B), hang on to the FT line, but route calls elselwhere - we use Primus for our calls abroad, which compares well - and gives an 0844 number for UK based friends to ring us on, costs them 2p/mn, costs us nothing.

i won't go into all the boring details, but we've had nothing but problems with Neuf. Intermittent service, bills for things we never got. The list goes on we have phone & internet with them. They are impossible to get hold of & when you do nothing changes & the phone calls to them cost a fortune. We're going back to France Telecom not wonderful, but at least they have an office where you can speak to someone in person.
