This self contained apartment, suitable for all seasons, is well appointed with simple but comfortable furnishings. It has a double and a twin bedroom, shower room and separate w.c, kitchen, living room, giving onto the balcony, with a very roomy mezzanine above, furnished with full bookshelves, games, WiFi and TV. Private parking in rear courtyard.
Why come here?
We have lived in Capestang over 20 years. It is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful and interesting area. We have watched the Languedoc being deservedly rediscovered and explored for its history, coast and mountains. Awake to the song of nightingales, go for a little walk before breakfast and be uplifted by the sight of the snow clad Pyrenees; or in winter enjoy the clear sunny skies. Of course, it can rain and blow hard and be cold, but we seldom have those long grey, depressing, dismal weeks.
Access is easy by car, train or air, to 6 convenient airports. An express train runs daily between Narbonne and Barcelona.
Out of consideration for other guests no smoking, no pets. Unsuitable for children under 10 and, regrettably, for those with limited mobility.

Explore the Languedoc, which is being deservedly rediscovered for its history, coast and beaches, mountains, rivers and, of course its quality wine. Admire and stroll the tow path of the Canal du Midi and hire a boat for the day.
Cycling, walking, enjoy good and some simple, good value, restaurants. Taste quality wine, in an area developed by the Romans, simply enjoy the Midi ambiance. And, perhaps most importantly, relax, recharge and benefit at all seasons from this particular climate.
