The old part of town is based on a defendable hill top with the houses built of stone.Over time the town grew out from the centre and the population grew to work the fields and vinyards.Nowa days it has all the facilities you would expect from a town to make life comfortable.A large church dominates the town centre and the market place is the focal point of the town.
Servian is well served by the A9 seven miles away ,a good bus service to the surrounding area and the towns of Beziers and Pezenas.
Servian boasts a camp site and adjoining swimming pool on the outskirts of town and an active Fete committee that arranges all the local parties and celebrations during the year. You are always made to feel welcome and encouraged to take part in the social life if you want.
