Creissan is a typical but very pretty Languedoc wine village, with a welcoming atmosphere.
The village provides 2 parks, one holds the larger musical events, and the other contains a open-air theatre, boules and table tennis facilities, with a community swimming pool, there are newly laid tennis courts close by. There is a pleasant little bar in the village. As well as a couple of general stores and a bakers, there is a daily bread delivery van, and a weekly pizza van.
For wine lovers, there is the Cave de Chateau Creissan that welcomes visitors and offers an excellent selection of wines.
