The village of Pouzoles Minervois dates back to around 1157 and boasts an 11th century church which featured heavily as a stronghold during the Crusades.
The surrounding countryside is a nature lover's paradise being home to a variety of mediterranean plants and herbs.
During the summer the local vinyards organise a weekly 'wine' tour with a meal and of course wine tasting!
