Castelnaudary is a small town situated on the Canal du Midi.Busy in the summer with an international clientel from the boats on the Canal and quiet in the winter. Lot's of shops, good restaurants and cafees and a good market on Mondays. Ideal for access to Toulouse, Carcassonne, skiing and the coast. Local residents are friendly and helpful and the town also boast excellent schools.
