St Cyprien Plage is a clean and tidy resort. The mayor has gone to great trouble to try and promote its benefits and the resort now boasts the second biggest marina on the Mediterranean.

I recommend you contact the local tourist office who will send you details of the facilities available locally. Telephone 04 68 21 01 33 or visit the web site www.saint-cyprien.com

There’s a lot to see in the area and the big supermarkets are a car ride away.

There are the following available within a very short distance :

Tennis Facilities at the grand stadium, Bike hire,Golf at Golf de Saint – Cyprien (Also a good restaurant) Tel 04 68 3763 63, A great water park for the children called Aqualand http://www.aqualand.fr/saint_cyprien.htm,Lots of equestrian centres,Scuba Diving, Sailing and motorboat hire in the port,Life guard stations on the beach,a good selection of restaurants including Pizzerias, Chinese and classic French cuisine

Some things close in the winter but there are always restaurants.

This area is becoming extremely popular as a Fly drive destination and can be used as an ideal base to visit Collioure, Argeles, Port Vendres and other beautiful and typical french market towns.
