Our opinion : A very good proposition as a holiday retreat at a very good price. The only real negative is that some of the interior could well do with a revamp in terms of the decoration. There is an expectation that property values will increase substantially over the next few years which make an apartment or villa in Le Barcarès a sound investment. Various studies have shown that property values will rise considerably between 2006 and 2010. Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the warmest areas of France, where daytime temperatures can easily top 30 degrees in the summer. In the region of Perpignan, in particular, which has the highest number of sun hours in France, you can sit outside on one of the many charming terraces from early spring to late autumn.
