Montpellier is an hour to the east, Perpignan an hour to the southwest and thence into the Pyrenees and Spain. Cessenon itself is a vibrant, friendly village, kissed by the gentle waters of the River Orb as it makes its way from the beginning of the Massif Central down towards the Mediterranean. The river is three minutes from the house and offers a beach with safe bathing or relaxing fishing. More adventurous water-sports like canoeing and kayaking are easily accessible.
