Our gite has a TV wth french reception, DVD and video players, CD/radio, selection of games, boules set, bicycles available for hire, large garden for kicking or batting a ball around and of course, the large above ground swimming pool.

Pezenas makes a perfect base for house-hunting or holidaying and discovering all that the beautiful Languedoc/Roussillon region has to offer.The closest Mediterranean beaches are only 25km away at Cap d'Agde and at Vias Plage. Two ancient walled cities are each only 50 minutes drive away, west to Carcassonne, or east to Aigues-Mortes from where you can continue into the vast nature reserve of the Camargue. For those seeking active pursuits there are canoeing on the nearby rivers Herault and the Orb, and sailing on the Bassin de Thau and from Cap d'Agde. In Pezenas you can find a wide selection of antique shops, it is possible to browse for several days without retracing your steps and twice a year antique fairs are held in the streets. The large Saturday market is reknown in the area. For the golfers there are a number of challenging and picturesque golf courses within easy reach and for the walkers, it would be impossible to list all of the opportunities this wonderful countryside has to offer ! However, heading inland, only 20 kms away, the Monts de l'Espinouse gently rise with their gorges and summits. Heading south for an hour, rising above Perpignan, are the Pyrenees and the border into Spain. For the less ambitious the rolling countryside is dotted with many little villages steeped in history and character, and easily accessible with only a short drive, and a gentle stroll. On a grander scale, beautiful and lively Montpellier is only 45 minutes drive away.

Set in a quiet leafy lane, our gite is only a leisurely 10 minute stroll from the heart of the old town with its cobbled streets of restaurants and cafes, metiers' studios and galleries, boutiques and hotels
This light and airy self catering gite comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and one twin single beds and each with ample wardrobe space, then there is a pine-wood mezzanine above the living area with a further two single beds suitable for adults and children of 4+ years.
The large, bright, high-ceilinged living space, with dining area and comfortable lounge seating, is tiled throughout and opens,through large sliding glass doors, onto the gite's south facing patio area with garden table and chairs.There is a fully fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer and a shower room with toilet and washbasin.
Little extras include a television for use with DVD and video players, CD/cassette/radio player, electric fans and a hairdryer. The gite is well insulated and double glazed to help keep it cool in summer and warm in winter with the benefit of electric heating.
Cot and high-chair are available at no extra charge.
Facilities include use of a washing machine and drying lines, barbecue, plus safe parking within the grounds. L'Oree des Vignes has a large fully enclosed garden and pool for the use of both our gite and apartment guests, for games and relaxation. Relax on one of the sunbeds and soak up the sun or unwind with a book in the cool shade of the trees. Enjoy a game of boules, or kick a ball around on the grass and dip into the 10m x 5m above ground pool to cool off.
For the essential supplies, there are two excellent supermarkets only 5 minutes drive away and an amazing roadside vegetable stall just around the corner.
