Montpeyroux is a lively village where visitors are encouraged to join in the summer fetes, which take place during July and August. It is well served with shops including a bakery/patisserie, grocer, butcher, post office, cafe and wine bar. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes drive. The village is well known for the high quality of its wine and boasts several of the regions best producers. Swim at Mediterranean beaches 35 mins, Lac Salagou 10 mins, Herault river 10 mins. There is excellent walking on marked trails from the front door and surrounding hills.

The house has been equipped to provide comfortable holiday accommodation. The house is south facing with a large paved terrace suitable for sunbathing and al fresco dining and is completely private. The large garden  is planted with shady pine and cypress trees. The surrounding vineyards and orchards ensure a haven of peace and tranquillity.The property is open plan with the kitchen area separated from the large living/dining room by a breakfast bar. The kitchen is well equipped including electric oven and hob, fridge and washing machine. There are ample tiled work surfaces. The living room is open to the roof giving a bright and spacious feel, there are french windows opening onto the terrace. The room is furnished with sofa, chairs and a dinning area. Electric radiator heating is available for those out of season visits. Off the living room is the shower room with shower unit, toilet and handbasin.The sleeping area is situated on the mezzanine and is via an open wooden staircase, there is a double bed, a range of fitted shelf units and antique wardrobe.NB: Linen is included in the rental price. Electricity is included for all seasons except Low, when it is payable by meter reading.
