Lodeve is a typical market town with a wide range of shops and restaurants, there is a weekly market on Saturdays as well as a Tuesday evening market specialising in local produce. Throughout the summer there are various events including a medieval fair and arts festival. The museum hosts prestigious art exhibitions year round, past exhibits have included Chagall, Picasso and Magritte.

The house has been extensively refurbished and redecorated. The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, gas hob with overhead extractor fan, eye level electric oven, fridge/freezer, along with a range of small useful kitchen appliances for keen cooks. Walk through to large dining area with seating for six.
The comfortable living room is furnished with leather sofas and arm chairs. The working fireplace forms the central feature of this sunny room. Satellite TV with mainly French Channels but also English films and News programs.DVD Player, music system with CDs and radio. French windows open onto the terrace and garden.

Continuing through the hall is the master bedroom with fitted cupboards. Bathroom with WC, wash handbasin and bath with over-head shower. The walk through office/library leads to the new guest suite with double bedroom and ensuite shower room with large walk in shower, WC and washhand basin. The front loading washing machine is also located here. French windows from the bedroom lead to the terrace.

The terrace houses the ‘summer kitchen’ with its adjacent purpose built barbecue The gardens surround the house. The enclosed and gated front garden has a drive, which can easily accommodate up to four cars. The extensive flower beds are planted with roses and other flowering shrubs and mature trees. The back garden has a small swimming pool, the surround is fully paved. (garden furniture includes sun beds).
