Cultural and historic sites: The city of Narbonne is famous for its 13th century cathedral right in the heart of the old town. Remains of an earlier period can be found literally on the streets in Narbonne; the old Roman road from Rome to Spain crosses the heart of the old town. Carcassonne, situated 45km inland is a fully restored Middle Age city with high ramparts and 52 towers. "La Cite" is definitely worth a visit and the many shops and restaurants make it a day well spent. At the foot of the Pyrenees you can find the many remains of the impressive Cathar castles, built high on hilltops to protect the Cathars from the Catholic Churchs wishes. The Canal du Midi was made to connect the Atlantic Ocean with the Mediterranean Sea. Today, the canal with its many bridges and hydraulic works is on UNESCOs list of World Heritage, for us to see or sail. Nimes Pont du Gard (150 km), Andorra (200 km) and Barcelona (325 km). Culinary visits: Narbonne is surrounded by famous wine regions as Corbieres, Minervois, Fitou and La Clape. Try the region’s powerful reds and roses at one of the local vineyards. If you’re into olives, visit the cave cooperative Oulibo in Bize-Minervois and learn how olive oil is made, taste the different varieties of green and black olives and try the related products such as soap. Animal life: The regions many lakes are host to pink flamingos and pelicans, you can spot them and other rare birds on a daily basis. For more exotic wildlife there is the Reserve Africain in Sigean. For the kids: Aqualand in Cap d'Agde Adventure and high rope parks in Gruissan and Leucate Kids entertainment program provided by the Animation team of St.Pierre, open to all.

The beach house is situated just next to the sandy beach of St Pierre-la-Mer, a small but lively resort famous locally for its huge market and its endless beaches.
Situated on the foot of the La Clape mountain range, it borders the marshlands and salt lakes of the nature reserve formed by the estuary of the river Aude.
In the village you will find lots of restaurants, bars, shops and bakeries for fresh croissants. At night time you can practise your moves in the Charly barr or in Le Taka night club.
The Beach House is a small but comfortable self-catering house (30m2) just 30m from the beach.
Living room with fully equipped open kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom with toilet, shower and hand wash basin, bedroom with double bed and low mezzanine with two single beds.
Outside is a walled south-facing terrace (12m2) with garden furniture and barbecue kitchen.

The resort also has plenty of water sports on offer to keep you occupied as conditions are perfect for kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing and there is not only the sea to play on but also a saltwater lake.
Kitesurf on the private Kitezone area on the beach, qualified English speaking IKO instructors safely teach all levels, beginners to advanced, how to fly a kite, ride a board and of course get that all important airtime!
Windsurfing is a breeze in a shallow safe lake with qualified instruction. Take advantage of "fast track" teaching methods to make the most of the region's stronger winds, from Tramontane to Vent d´Espagne.
