Villa Amelia is situated in a quiet cul de sac, just 10 minutes walk to the small quaint and peaceful village of Clarensac, which forms one of the villages of the ‘vaunages’, a collection of hamlets and small towns extending west of Nimes into the surrounding wine countryside. Clarensac has a boulangerie, greengrocers, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers and bar. In addition, there are several wine tasting vineyards within a few minutes drive.
The nearest city is Nimes which is just nine miles away and has an airport and train station. Montpellier airport is a 45 minute drive and is served by many airlines from the UK, including British Airways and Ryanair.
The high-speed train (TGV) from Paris takes about 2.5 hours or travel direct from London to Avignon on Eurostar. www.eurostar.com. Avignon is about 45 minutes drive away.
A single story villa with a fully fitted kitchen (a rarity in French houses!), spacious lounge with wood burner, dining area and three bedrooms.
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and two have double beds, and the third has two singles. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge that can be used for an additional two people if required.
The bathroom has a free standing shower cubicle and bathtub. The WC is separate from the bathroom and there is an additional WC outside.
Outside features a lush landscaped gated and very private garden complete with swimming pool. The pool has a child safety alarm. The patio has a built in BBQ and drinks fridge - just perfect for taking advantage of the long sunny days & balmy evenings. French windows from the lounge and kitchen lead to the patio with large outdoor table and chairs. Perfect for dining al fresco.
