The village is also close to the N116, a road that takes you directly to Perpignan, its airport and its beaches.
In the foothills of the Pyrenees, you'll find the beautiful town of Villefranche-le-Confluent, a walled village with cobbled streets, and the starting point of the famous 'Train Jaune' - a traditional train that weaves its way though the Pyrenees.
The beautiful monuments of 'Priory of Serrabone' and 'St Martin de Canigou' are also nearby. The beaches of Perpignan are excellent, offering miles of sand and gorgeous views of the mountains behind. Collioure is not far, a sophisticated seaside town with pastel-painted houses and an old fort looking out to sea.
