Montpellier is Europe's fastest-growing city - and so is currently abuzz with new shops, restaurants, cultural centers and outdoor cafes. 1 minute walk from the apartment is 'Les Halles' - a very upmarket indoor market - selling regional specialities, flowers and food. Palavs beach is 15 mintues away - and Languedoc's most beautiful beach, Espiguette, is only 30 minutes. Aigues Mortes, Sommieres, Nimes, Pezenas and Sete all all close-by too.

Beautifully restored and decorated apartment - right in the very center of Montpellier's 'Centre Historique'. The apartment is on Rue Foch - Montpellier's equivalent of Bond Street - with the city's best shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walk.

The apartment is in a very exclusive building, and the entrance sits on a pedestrianised street.

Tall windows and a high ceiling mean the property is very light and cool. It is on the first floor - so there are not too many steps to climb. The apartement also offers original sandstone walls and a gorgeous masaic floor.

The bedroom sleeps two in a large double bed. There is a very confortable sofa bed (also a large double) in the sitting room.

The kitchen is small but very well appointed - with fridge, microwave, oven, hob and all the crockery, cutlery and equipment you could need. (But with Montpellier's best restaurants all within a stone's throw - you'll probably find no time to cook!).

The bathroom offers a bath and shower and marble basins. There is a seperate WC.
