With Ryanair launching a new route from Shannon to Carcassonne on October 12, 2006, the Languedoc region looks set to see an influx of Irish house hunters.
Now Irish property investors and holidaymakers who love France have another reason to be cheerful: in 2005 flights started from Shannon to the Loire valley city of Nantes, and from October 12, 2006, the same airport will host services to Carcassonne and Biarritz. These two French destinations are also already served by direct flights out of Dublin, courtesy of Ryanair.
