France is the favourite European destination for Britons looking to move abroad, according to results of a survey announced in June 2007.

Research carried out by Bank of Scotland International shows that of those people who would like to move to another country, six per cent would chose France rather any other nation (the next European country was Spain, with five per cent saying they would opt for living there).
