Nimes is a great area to rent a holiday home rental or villa, thanks to the sheer number of sightseeing opportunities in and around the city.
In Nimes itself are two of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world - the Roman temple (Maison Carree) and the Roman arena (Les Arennes). The city also boasts some of southern France's best modern architecture.
