This smartly restored holiday home is the entire first floor of a recently renovated century-old winemaker's house, with 2 double bedrooms (double beds), and a third room that sleeps 3 (bunk bed and 1 single bed).
2 separate terraces: A sitting room opening directly onto the larger one with the pool and stunning terrace with river views. A smaller private terrace accessed from the Master bedroom also with stunning views of the village.
Very well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, washing machine. Bathroom with walk in shower, bidet. Linen and bath towels provided; electricity, heating, WiFi, TV included.
Your own private river beach is 100 metres away, across the quiet road and down some (steep) steps. Bathe or swim in the sun in the gently flowing waters, then lie in a hammock or deckchair in the shade. For lunch, your picnic table is in the dappled shade of old trees. Or there is a public beach in full sun, 300 metres away!
It is a short walk across the fine old bridge to the Lézard Bleu, an excellent venue for light lunches or dinner, with an excellent selection of Belgium beers and wines. Up the hill to the village of Vieussan with its narrow streets, you will find Wine and vegetable outlets within 5-10 minutes' walk. The bakery and other shops are in the nearby village of Mons La Trivalle (7 minutes drive). There is a lovely market at Lamalou-les-Bains (15 minutes).
