I am a Canadian, currently living in Switzerland, who would like to move to the Languedoc region in March or April. I would like to be located in a small- to medium-sized town in the foothills region, with good access to outdoor activities. A one bedroom, around 60 sq meters, is ideal. I work from home and therefore need a high speed internet connection. I plan to stay for a year, but would consider something shorter term. If you know of something that might be suitable, please contact me!

Hi Rachel
I have a small one bedroom village house in quiet road in the charming village of Valros. It is near Beziers and Pezenas, only 20 min drive to the mountains, and about 15 to the sea.
The 300 year old house is three stories, with kitchen on ground floor (and wood burning fire), The second floor has a large double bedroom and a recently renovated, stylish bathroom. The third floor has TV and relaxing area, plus a good sized sun terrace. There is also a separate garage -- very handy for storage! The whole house was renovated entirely last year and is a good mix of old and new -- and is very French with all the charming features you'd expect.

The only down side is we don't have internet yet...but if you were interested we would install it for you. This is our holiday home, but would be happy to rent it out to you for a year.

Please email me on if you are interested, and I will be happy to talk to you or email you.
Kind regards, Julie O'Sullivan
