B&B halfway Languedoc - Calais .................

It is a b&b in a maison du maitre just North of Clermont Ferrand. It is about half way Languedoc - Calais. Or Amsterdam - Barcelona !

It may be useful for those taking a relaxing drive up North.

I would like to recommend another great place to stay if you're traveling down the other side of Paris - Appletons Chambre D'ote. In a beautiful country spot at Boninilly, Chavin, between Chateroux and Limoges only 10 mins from the motorway - dead easy to find. Great hosts, excellent food - much of it home grown or locally produced, very comfortable both in winter and summer. We've stayed there in both and thoroughly enjoyed the area and especially the hospitality! Check it out, it's worth it!
