Water sports at nearby Lac de Jouarres. Safe sandy beaches at the coast within 45 minutes. Boating along the Canal du Midi. Walking, cycling and fishing in the Montagne Noire and Pyrenees. Bird watching along the coast and selected inland areas. Weekend breaks from Autumn to Spring can be arranged to take-in most activities. A days skiing in the Pyrenees is possible from Mailhac. The region has a strong rugby tradition so you can watch professional teams play in Narbonne, Perpignan and Toulouse. The world wind-surfing speed championships are held at La Franqui each year, and the Tour de France usually passes through the Aude making its way between the Pyrenees and the Alpes. Carcassone hosts a cultural festival each year including a huge firework display on Bastille Day, 14th July.

Caroline and Trevor really enjoy meeting and entertaining people and offer a comfortable, well equipped base for holidays.
Caroline will cook evening meals by arrangement, including vegetarian, where a typical 3-course meal with wine and coffee costs 19.50€.
As our guests you have full use of the courtyard garden, the swimming pool and the lounge which has TV, radio, CD and DVD collection, a large selection of books and information on the region. Wifi internet access is avilable.
