FlyBe dominate Avignon's flights at the moment, with flights from 2 different UK cities. Avignon airport is well placed on major motorways to make it a good place to enter Languedoc. Nîmes is only about 30 minutes away, and Montpellier 1 hour. A TGV train station in Avignon means you can fly here, and then take the train to any of Languedoc's coastal cities quite easily.
Avignon Airport
Avignon Airport is called the 'Aéroport de Châteaublanc' and is situated 10km south east of the city. It's small (and so very easy to get through) and has 300 parking spaces. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be any public transport linking the airport and city.
