Our charming Gite with 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom is located in a friendly village and from the large sunny terrace you can see the ancient Cité of Carcassonne
Within a 5 minute drive, the lively port of Trebes has all the necessary shops and several restaurants.
10 minutes away is the ancient walled Cité of Carcassonne - a World Heritage site - which is well preserved and a wonderful place to visit.
A 5 minute walk through vineyards brings you to the Canal du Midi where you can watch the boats passing through our lock(of Rick Stein's Odyssey!)
Canals are pretty flat which makes cycling the towpaths a lot of fun without being too streuous. We can arrange wine tasting, art classes and the 18 hole golf course is just around the corner. The sun terrace is a perfect place to return to for a well-deserved cocktail after a satisfying day.
